Benchmarking farm performance
We are currently in the process of obtaining permission from most of our dairy clients to routinely get their weekly milk quality results from National Milk Laboratories so that we can formulate anonymous league tables of our clients results.
This will enable our clients to assess their performance relative to other farms in our area and will enable us to detect at an early stage when things are going wrong. e.g. cell counts or bactoscans rising, proteins or butterfats falling etc.
We will then be able to get in touch to discuss the problem and see if anything can and needs doing to address the problem.
